Product Description
Designed in 1890, the Opinel folding knife is a tried and tested design, popular across the world. The recognisable shape plus the simple but practical design make it an enduring staple among those in need of a reliable tool.
Features
Just as it was in Joseph Opinel's original design, the blade is made of extremely hard carbon steel - guaranteeing a hard-wearing blade that is easily sharpened when needed.
The beech wood used to craft the handle naturally varies from a light caramel colour to a faint yellow hue and is characterised by numerous small, dark 'dashes' within the grain.
Please note: the number 5 knife does not feature a locking mechanism.
An Opinel folding knife is the perfect marriage of form and function - the design is both useful and iconic, and the knife is a dependable workhorse. With proper maintenance, an Opinel will provide many years' service, at an affordable price.
